THE STORY
Hey. Nice to see you here. I'm Špela. I’m a girl from Slovenia who has always loved studying, but even more, I loved drawing on my hands instead of listening to the teachers. Over time, I created countless designs on myself and my friends, and they were the ones who first encouraged me to start tattooing. My journey began when my American football coach gifted me my first tattoo machine, and I’ve since grown into the one I use today. For me, tattooing is both relaxing and exciting — a form of art and self-expression where clients trust me with something permanent and deeply personal. I don’t know anyone more detail-oriented or responsible when it comes to understanding and doing what’s best for the client, and I value that trust deeply. I love the freedom that art gives and I’m committed to pursuing tattooing professionally.
Alongside tattooing, I’ve always been curious and eager to learn more, which took me abroad many times. I studied Media and Communications, and during my exchanges, I focused on Graphic Design as well as Visual and Audio Arts. Later, in my Master’s, I specialized in Impact Entrepreneurship and Innovation, with a strong focus on sustainability. During all this time, I tried tattooing as much as I could, and kept fueling my passion for it. I know I do a great job at it. I created pieces that still stand out today — people still come up to my clients after 7 years and ask if their tattoo is a sticker because the lines are so crisp, which speaks for itself.
Now, as I prepare to move abroad again — this time to Belgium, though I’m open to other locations — I’m actively searching for a studio where I can continue growing as a tattoo artist and fully dedicate myself to my craft.
